The "PRS SE Rock Lady Limited Edition," based on PRS Guitars' PRS SE Paul's Guitar and the Custom 24-08 Limited Edition used by KANAMI, the guitarist of the Japanese rock band BAND-MAID, is a model created as an homage to the guitar used by the protagonist, Ririsa Suzunomiya, in the anime "Rock is a Lady's Pastime."

The TCI S treble and bass pickups featured in this model were designed by PRS Guitars founder Paul Reed Smith himself, embodying the pickup development know-how that PRS has cultivated over many years. Furthermore, the combination of a 3-way toggle switch and two mini-toggle switches for coil tapping allows for eight versatile sound variations to suit a wide range of genres, from edgy, sparkling single-coil sounds to thick, warm tones reminiscent of soapbar pickups. The bridge features a PRS original design brass insert stoptail, contributing to a powerful and harmonically rich sound.

In terms of design, this guitar faithfully reproduces Ririsa's guitar as much as possible, featuring a pearl pink body top, black headstock, natural body back, and purple-toned pickup bobbins specially prepared for this model. Unlike the model that appears in the anime, the fretboard features PRS's trademark bird inlays. Furthermore, as an homage to the work, the truss rod cover is adorned with a lily motif design. The theme song for the anime "Rock is a Lady's Pastime" was written by BAND-MAID, the group to which KANAMI belongs. Based on the manga of the same name, the anime uses motion capture technology to digitize KANAMI's energetic playing style, directly reproducing her movements in the story. The realistic and immersive performance scenes have garnered high praise from many music and anime fans. This model will be a must-have not only for fans of the anime, but also for KANAMI and PRS fans.
