Regarding the condition of this instrument, there are very thin cross scratches on the body that can be seen when held up to light.
There are no other major dents or scratches, and the nut and frets show little signs of use, so it is in near-new condition even among used items.
The peg buttons and strap pins have been replaced with black parts, giving this entry-level model a unique, chic look.
There are no issues with playability, such as chatter or choking.

2016 marks the 50th anniversary of the launch of Yamaha's first Japanese-made folk guitars, the FG180 and FG150, in 1966. Over that time, Yamaha has supported a wide range of musical scenes by constantly improving quality and innovating technology, catering to a wide range of needs, from beginner models to professional models. The newly redesigned FG/FS Series, released in 2016, features a completely redesigned lineup across all models. Newly designed bracing enhances the mid- and low-range frequencies, delivering a more powerful sound. Two body shapes and a wide range of colors are available to meet the needs of a wide range of players.
Newly designed scalloped bracing enhances mid- and low-range sound. Using the latest technology, we developed a new bracing design through repeated simulation and analysis. This design maintains the durability of the top while delivering a more powerful and rich sound in the low-mid to low ranges.
■A wide lineup with a model to suit your taste. The "FG Series" features a traditional Western body. Its powerful low range and clear high range deliver a fast-attack sound, further refined. The "FS Series" boasts outstanding playability thanks to its small body and short string length. The new models feature a thinner body, making them even easier to handle.
