Introducing the new EHB600 series, a cost-effective model from Ibanez's super popular headless model "EHB"!

This bass combines portability, the greatest advantage of the headless style, with ease of playability. And above all, it's designed with ingenuity in bass sound. Traditionally, headless basses have often been described as "no sound" or "difficult to use," but the Ibanez Bass Workshop has reexamined them and created the all-new EHB headless bass. It's not a copy of other headless models, nor is it simply a headless version of an existing design or shape. The EHB, a new Ibanez bass, is born.

The ergonomically designed EHB body design horn is shaped to be easy to hold and to balance the body and neck when playing standing up, and the body curve on the treble string side has been designed with particular emphasis on fit and balance when playing seated.
The body surface has been contoured to create a slope where the elbows rest, and all body edges that come into contact with the body have been given a smooth R.
The back of the body is boldly cut out so that it tapers toward the bass strings. This improves the fit when playing seated, and is designed to take into account the eye angle when viewing the fingerboard inlays. Additionally, the back of the horn on the treble string side has been cut out in a scoop shape to make it easier to access the high fret area.

By experiencing the vibrations inside the body directly, just like in a hollow body, players will be able to better recognize the sound they are producing. This also leads to a slight weight reduction.

EHB Ergonomic Body Design: The body design is ergonomically designed to provide a balanced fit whether playing standing or seated. The horn's shape is designed to be easy to hold and to balance the body and neck when playing standing, while the body curve on the treble string side is designed to provide a comfortable fit and balance, especially when playing seated. The body surface has a contoured slope where the elbow rests. All body edges that come into contact with the body are also smoothly rounded.

MR5HS mono-rail bridge: This is a dedicated bridge that is tuned by turning the bridge end. It uses Teflon washers for easy turning. The saddles can be moved 1.5mm left and right, allowing you to freely adjust the string pitch within the adjustable range. This allows for precise tuning to suit your playing style.

- The dedicated EHB headpiece allows you to easily set and release the strings by turning it from the back with a hex wrench.It is a lightweight, sturdy, and simple design dedicated headpiece.

・Ibanez Custom Electronics 3-band EQ
This active EQ offers three bands of equalization: High, Mid, and Low. In passive mode, the High knob functions as a tone control.

- Ibanez α1 Pickup: Equipped with an original pickup designed for a modern sound, it has rich low and mid-end characteristics and high clarity.

- Equipped with an EQ On/Off switch that allows instant switching between active and passive
The EQ on/off switch allows you to switch between active mode, which allows for a wide range of sound creation with a 3-band EQ, and passive mode, which allows you to play with intuitive tone controls.If the battery runs out, you can switch to passive mode and still play.
