A new signature model from bassist Chiipan, who has many followers and is active mainly through video posting on YouTube!
Under the supervision of Chiipan, this bass guitar was designed with the concept of being "beginner-friendly," adopting a 33-inch scale that is slightly shorter than a regular electric bass. Furthermore, by incorporating stainless steel frets and a heelless cut at the joint, it has been created as the perfect instrument for players who are just starting out with bass.
The 33-inch scale is ideal for beginners and players with smaller hands. It's approximately 2.5cm shorter than the standard 34-inch scale, reducing string tension and making fingering easier thanks to the slightly closer spacing between frets. While still easy to play, it offers a more practical sound with less impact on tone than the more compact medium-scale and short-scale models.
The standard maple neck for an electric bass guitar features a matte satin finish. Compared to a gloss finish, this is an extremely thin coating that preserves the texture of the wood, allowing for smooth position changes with the left hand.
The frets are made of stainless steel, which is harder and more durable than standard materials. They are less likely to wear down and become dull over time, making daily maintenance easier. In addition, instead of the typical neck plate, the guitar features a "heelless cut" design, where the body and neck join at an angle. This allows for smooth fingering even when playing on the higher frets.
The headstock features a logo of Chiipan's original character, "Chiipanda," drawn by Chiipan himself, marking the signature model. Purchasers also receive a special bonus: an A6-sized mini photobook and postcard featuring photos taken specifically for this model, as well as a "Chiipanda" sticker designed by Chiipan himself.
