~~~~~The following is the product description for a new item. ~~~~~
Gibson Custom Shop was established in 1993 to create the finest electric guitars and basses using high-quality manufacturing techniques, an insatiable spirit of inquiry, and carefully selected materials, cultivated over many years. The Custom Shop lineup, still built using traditional handcrafting methods and a thorough knowledge of vintage instruments, is unrivaled in its exquisite craftsmanship, and is sure to become the ultimate beloved instrument that will endlessly inspire the player's innermost inspiration.
This cutting-edge Custom Shop Les Paul Standard has been meticulously refined down to the finest detail to create the ultimate reissue. The "Les Paul MODEL" silkscreen on the headstock—the guitar's true "face"—has been reworked to a new color, and the Gibson logo has been redesigned to resemble the original with a more edgy feel. The inlays, including the fingerboard position markers, are made of naturally dark cellulose material rather than colored, further enhancing the guitar's character.
While recent Gibson Custom Shop models have been aged by Murphy Lab, this model features a VOS finish with a subdued gloss finish that is free of weathering. The metal parts are recreated to resemble rust and tarnish, making this a must-have for anyone who doesn't like weathering or aging.
The unique grain and color of the body, which changes depending on the light and angle, recreates the unique look and feel of old Gibson guitars made during Gibson's golden era.
The neck shape is the "Authentic '59 Medium C-Shape," which is neither too thick nor too thin, making it suitable for modern playing styles.
While the basic specs follow the latest Historic Spec, this model uses an Alnico 2 Custom Bucker. While it has slightly more output than the standard Alnico 3 Custom Bucker, it produces a rich sustain and a comfortable sound with just the right amount of bite.
Equipped with a newly installed Bumblebee-type paper oil capacitor and a 500k CTS potentiometer with a vintage curve. Compared to a standard 500kΩ potentiometer, the high frequencies aren't cut off as dramatically even when the volume is turned down, allowing you to freely control everything from clean to drive sounds with just a touch of the finger. Distortion is maintained from the 10 to 6 setting, and then smoothly decreases from 6 to 1, allowing for expressive playing depending on the length of the volume control.
With a focus on vintage details, Gibson delivers the latest specs that will no doubt enrich your guitar life!
Please feel free to pick it up and experience it for yourself!!
