Description

Recommended second-hand item!
A special ES-355 in a dazzling sparkle color!
We have a recommended pre-owned Gibson Custom Shop 1959 ES-355 with Stained Sparkle Stop Bar Gloss GH in stock! Manufactured in 2023.
Don't miss out on this rare model with a gorgeous look!

The ES-355 is a fascinating model loved by top musicians!
The ES-355 was released as an upgraded model of the ES-335.
The "ES" series is a lineup that follows the Gibson Solid Series, and this model is positioned as what would be called a "Custom" upgrade model for the Les Paul, featuring specs unique to the "Custom" model. It boasts the luxury of a high-end model, including large multi-ply cell binding with split diamond inlays and gold hardware, giving it a much more luxurious feel than the regular ES series.

This time, we have a recommended used item from the Gibson Custom Shop in stock!
There is no Variton SW and the assembly is mono, so it is ready to be put on stage right away!
The bridge is not like the Bigsby B-7, but rather a stop tailpiece. The gold hardware adds a touch of elegance! The weight is approximately 3.95 kg. It's well-balanced for a solid sound.

The neck features a rare ebony fingerboard. The ebony fingerboard used on the 355 produces a sharper, tighter sound than the 335, and even when the gain is increased, it produces a masculine tone with excellent projection and clarity! The excellent fret processing unique to the Nashville factory enhances playability. The neck shape is neither too thin nor too thick, allowing the rich body resonance to be linearly captured, and the block position marks are included. It also features Grover Select pegs.

The pickups are Custombucker Alnico III pickups. Potting is completely eliminated, including on the coil and baseplate. New Bumblebee-type paper oil capacitors and 500K CTS pots with a vintage curve create a more "exposed" sound with a vintage feel.
The sharper response to picking than ever before will have players magically captivated by the ES-335 tone the moment they plug their guitar into an amp.
Not only does it have a great sound projection when the tone is turned down, but the controllable assembly maintains a moderate brightness even when the volume is turned down, making it a great match for modern use! The tone volume has a gradual response, allowing you to create a wide range of tones with just the touch of a button.

Like the ES-335, the 355 is a guitar with a bluesy yet sophisticated feel. It's a versatile guitar that handles clean crunch and even high-gain distortion. Its comfortable yet sturdy neck profile delivers a linear response to the rich body resonance, and it features block position markings. It also features Grover Select Tuners.

This time, we have a recommended used item in stock! It was made in 2023.
There are some visible dents on the tip of the headstock where the wood is visible, some peeling of the plating on the rear PU pickup cover, and scratches on the front PU pickup cover, but none of these affect or affect playability.

There are also some small scratches, scratches on the pickguard, and tarnish on the gold parts, but overall it's in pretty good condition! There are no issues or problems with playability.
We have performed full maintenance and cleaning at our store, so you can use it immediately.

The frets are in good condition and are almost intact. The nut is also in good condition and can be used as is. The truss rod can be adjusted normally.

The electrical system has been fully checked and there are no problems with operation.

As mentioned above, the weight is approximately 3.95 kg, which is a balance that allows you to enjoy a solid sound and tone!
This is a gorgeous piece with dazzling sparkle colors!

Accessories include an original hard case, key, certificate, Pre-Pack Checklist, serial number tag, and Japanese instruction manual.
