This instrument features a deep magenta metallic base with a thorough heavy-aged finish. The vibrant yet decadent color scheme gives it a strong presence on stage, while also evoking the persuasive qualities of a well-played instrument. Combined with black parts, it creates a bold, rugged look that really brings the overall impression together.
This model was designed by Xotic in California and carefully assembled by skilled craftsmen in Japan. From the selection of wood to the precision of processing and finishing, no compromises were made. Combined with the high-precision fretwork of the PLEK system, this model delivers incredibly smooth, stress-free playability.
The body is crafted from alder, with a core in the mid-low range. The maple neck and rosewood fingerboard combine to create a classic '60s JB style, while the lacquer finish provides the fast response and rich, natural resonance you'd expect from a guitar. The tone responds well from the moment you start playing, and the guitar's tone responds directly to your touch, creating an impressive sound.
The guitar is equipped with Raw Vintage pickups, which combine the thickness and sensitivity of hand-wired pickups. Even when playing clean, the sound is clear and well-balanced from low to high frequencies. Fingerpicking provides a firm mid-low range, while picking provides a well-defined attack, ensuring every nuance of your playing is accurately translated into sound.
In addition, the Xotic original preamp allows for a wide range of sound creation without compromising the original sound character.The active/passive switching and various switches are practical, making it flexible for both live performances and recording.
