Description

Martin Miller's new signature model MMN1

Martin Miller, an Ibanez signature artist and teacher, is a guitarist from Leipzig, Germany, and a multi-genre player with a deep connection to the Ibanez AZ series, dating back to its development.
In recent years, while teaching guitar at the Carl Maria von Weber University of Music, he has been extremely busy traveling the world giving numerous clinics and producing and mixing instructional video albums for JTCguitar.com.
The MMN1 is Martin's new signature model, following the MM1 and MM7.

■Rosewood fretboard with Stainless Frets
It features rosewood, which is known for its balanced sound character and warm tone.
This material is ideal for the AZ-N, which was developed with a focus on clean tones that can be used in a wider range of genres.

■Compound Radius (228mm to 305mm) Fretboard
The compound radius fretboard is suitable for both deep chord forms in the lower positions and lead playing on the higher frets.

■Non-recessed bridge cavity
The top surface of the body has no recess.
Because the bridge plate and the guitar body are in direct contact, it features improved expressiveness in dynamics, enhanced reproduction of playing nuances, and excellent resonance.

■5 tremolo springs w/muting rubber
We've adopted a five-spring system to more effectively transmit string vibrations to the body.
It is equipped with a rubber spring mute to suppress spring resonance/vibration.

■Gotoh T1702B tremolo bridge
The T1702B tremolo bridge features a brass saddle inertia block, resulting in a warm, bright tone and excellent resonance.
The string spacing is a narrow 10.5mm, designed to make it easier to pick across strings, a feature demanded by players who frequently use string skipping and hybrid picking.
Furthermore, it features an arm socket that allows the use of Ibanez Edge tremolo arms and ultra-light tremolo arms.
Unlike conventional arms that require twisting, this design allows for snap-in attachment of the arm.
The tremolo arm's torque can be easily adjusted by rotating the torque cap on the arm mounting section. In addition, it comes standard with a stud lock mechanism that firmly secures the studs with grub screws embedded in them, greatly contributing to tuning stability and resonance.

■Seymour Duncan Fortuna pickups
Compared to the Hyperion, which was jointly developed with Seymour Duncan as a pickup specifically for the AZ, the Fortuna pickup, developed for the AZ-N, offers an even more natural clean tone that can handle a wide range of genres, and is designed for ease of expressing playing nuances.
This is a medium-output pickup designed with compatibility in mind, allowing for use with a variety of pedal effects depending on the situation.

■AZ Oval C S-TECH WOOD Roasted Maple 1pc neck
This original neck shape was created after measuring and analyzing dozens of guitar neck grips, both from our own company and other manufacturers.
This comfort grip features a smooth, rounded shape from the joint between the fretboard and neck down to the fretboard edge.
The shape is accurately and reliably reproduced using ball milling.
It uses maple wood treated with ESTEC, a nitrogen heat treatment technology.
Wood treated with ESTEC technology possesses characteristics such as dimensional stability, resistance to warping, water resistance, and resistance to temperature changes, and this technology is patented in Japan.

■Luminlay side dot inlay
It features highly visible 3.0mm diameter phosphorescent dot position markers that can adapt to the rapidly changing performance environment due to lighting and other factors.
Even on a dark stage, you won't lose sight of the sound you want to play.

■An ergonomic body back contour
This is an original body shape designed with a contemporary aesthetic in mind.
The thin body contour and large elbow contour create a sense of unity between the player and the guitar, greatly contributing to improved playability.
Furthermore, the deeper waist of the body improves handling when held and on stage, resulting in superior playability.
The body features different corner radii on the front and back surfaces, resulting in an ergonomic design that provides a comfortable fit the moment you pick up the guitar, whether sitting or standing.

■Super All Access Neck Joint
The Super All Access neck joint features a stepped carving on the back of the body with an 8mm height difference, and the neck joint is finished with a spherical surface to achieve superior playability.
The cutaway on the bass string side is designed to be shallower, maximizing the contact area between the body and neck. This achieves both high playability and excellent sustain and resonance.

■Bone nut
It uses oil-impregnated cow bone nuts.
The smooth nut design significantly contributes to tuning stability, while also achieving a resonance similar to that of vintage guitars.

■Gotoh MG-T locking machine heads
Designed for ease of string changes, it features Gotoh MG-T locking machine heads, renowned for their tuning stability.
The design allows you to easily lock the strings through the post holes by turning a dial with your finger.
