"A snare drum that suits your style." Every drummer embarks on a long journey in search of that one perfect drum. The SLP Sound Lab Project was created to serve as a guidepost for such drummers. Not only does it offer a wide range of shell materials, but it also features shells crafted with meticulous attention to detail, down to the millimeter in shell thickness. Furthermore, to maximize its potential, it incorporates newly developed hoops and tubular lugs in addition to existing parts. This all-genre snare series offers a wide variety of sounds created by combining these elements, all under one umbrella.


This aluminum shell snare drum boasts a light and crisp sound. With a 5.5-inch depth and high-tension lugs, it delivers a classic, dry sound, reflecting its vintage aesthetic. The secret lies in its seamless aluminum shell and 8-tension steel Mighty Hoops. The slightly thicker 1.2mm aluminum shell, combined with a center ridge, enhances rigidity. Meanwhile, the open 8-tension steel hoops contribute to a delicate and crisp sound. This snare drum is ideal for classic rock and pop genres where a light, crisp, and dry sound is desired.

■ Shipping

We ship via FedEx. Shipments are fully insured against damage or loss during transit.
