Description
The legend of New York has finally returned.

For many years, there was a mouthpiece in New York that enjoyed immense popularity across genres, from orchestral musicians to big band players. Although the workshop continued to operate after being acquired in the 1980s, it closed down around the 1990s. The brand survived, and orders could still be placed, but since then, several subcontractors have been handling the actual manufacturing.

The subcontractors varied from time to time, and sometimes European mouthpiece specialists handled OEM production. Of the many subcontractors, it was discovered that one American manufacturer possessed the original data and tools. Driven by the manufacturer's strong desire to "revive the venerable New York mouthpieces for the modern age," they have now named the series "NY Classic" and have begun production of all models for trumpet, including the popular V-cup models (VS, VM, V).

Because it is manufactured faithfully to the original blueprints, the sound, resonance, and playing feel are indistinguishable from the mouthpieces of yesteryear. You can now obtain a mouthpiece that had become difficult to acquire due to production ceasing, not as a "copy," but as an "original." The New York tradition has finally been revived.

*This product is a store display and trial item, so the outer box (packaging) may have dents or damage, and there may be minor scratches on the shank of the mouthpiece itself. However, it is a B-grade (outlet) special price item that is in good enough condition to be used without any problems during play.

Many products are stocked across Ikebe stores in Japan. As a result, shipment may take several days. In-store sales may also cause items to sell out. If an item is unavailable, we will contact you promptly; in that case, the order will be canceled and any payment will be refunded.

■ Shipping

We ship via FedEx. Shipments are fully insured against damage or loss during transit.

Shipping costs are calculated based on the delivery address and confirmed at the time of dispatch.

■ Taxes & Duties
