Providence BASS BOOT COMP BTC-1

Bargain second-hand items have arrived.

The "BASS BOOT COMP BTC-1" features threshold and mix controls to maximize the dynamic range of the bass guitar, allowing for proactive sound shaping. Its smooth compression minimizes unwanted tonal changes, enabling volume adjustment without compromising the player's unique tone. Furthermore, it's a multi-functional, rack-type compressor with an LED indicator to monitor the gain reduction level.

● Versatile compression
The Bass Boot Comp is a bass compressor that delivers a clear, bright, and smoothly refined compressed sound while adding the original tone's dynamism. The mix control allows for a vibrant and distinctive compression.

● Expanding your range of expression with MIX control: By controlling the ratio of the output of the compressed sound and the original sound, you can achieve expressions that are difficult to achieve with a compressor alone, such as expressing delicate touch nuances with a core, or incorporating the nuances of the original sound into a well-defined sound. Of course, you can also output only the compressed sound, so you can use it as a pure compressor as well. By adding the original sound to a carefully crafted compressed sound, you can create a sense of openness, and conversely, by adding the compressed sound to the original sound, you can achieve stability in sound pressure. You can greatly expand your range of expression by approaching it from each direction.

● Equipped with a Threshold control, you can control the baseline value that you want to adjust according to the output of the pickup and the strength of your picking. Combined with attack and sustain, it allows for a wide range of expression, from a thick, dense limiter sound to a fast, compressed sound with emphasized attack.

● Visible Gain Reduction: The gain reduction level is indicated by an LED indicator, allowing you to visually assess it. The stronger the gain reduction, the brighter the LED lights up; the weaker the gain reduction, the dimmer the LED lights up.
