FAQ

Description
We have received a shipment of popular models from Ibanez, a leading Japanese guitar brand and a world leader in the industry.

The "AR" series, which followed in the footsteps of the four-digit model number "The Artist Series" that was sold overseas in the early 1970s, was renamed and made a triumphant return to Japan around 1979. It gained strong support both domestically and internationally for its delicate yet powerful sound, beautiful looks, and reliable quality.

This latest arrival is an AR-300 from 1979, as indicated by its serial number, and it's in player's condition.

【body】
The total weight is approximately 4.0 kg. The body material is a maple top with a mahogany back, and the color is a popular antique violin finish. Overall, there is some damage commensurate with its age, such as scratches, dents, shrinkage and cracks in the binding, and tarnishing and peeling of the plating on the metal parts, but the paint still retains its shine and it can be said to be in relatively good condition. The rubber on the control knobs has been replaced.

【neck】
The neck is made of maple with an ebony fingerboard. The tuners are original Velvet Tuners; there is some slight variation in the winding, but they are currently functioning without any problems. The back of the neck has some paint chipping near the volute and at the tip of the headstock, but there is no major damage and it is in good condition. The frets and nut show some wear, but there is no buzzing or dead spots and it is easy to play. The nut width is approximately 44.4mm. The neck shape is characterized by its substantial thickness towards the end.

[Electrical System]
The controls consist of two volume knobs, two tone knobs, and a three-way pickup selector switch. The mini-switch has been omitted and sealed with a stainless steel bolt as a custom modification. The pickups have been replaced with Lindy Fralin pickups; although there are no labels, the resistance values suggest they are Sunbuckers. The potentiometers, capacitors, and output jack have also been replaced. With its simple two-humbucker configuration, it's easy to use and boasts a powerful, clear sound.
