Bosphorus Cymbals was founded in 1996 by three cymbal makers: Hasan Seker, Ibrahim Yakici, and Hasan Ozdemir.
These three are the most experienced and active cymbal makers in Türkiye, and are known as "masters."
The three founders of Bosphorus were close childhood friends who became cymbal makers at a very young age, diligently training and mastering every step of the cymbal-making process.
Their mentors were masters who created legendary cymbals in the 60s and 70s, and they learned traditional manufacturing methods from them.
After working at that workshop for 16 years, the three men established their own company. They still maintain good relationships with their former employees and continue to work on cymbal making with respect for the mentor who taught them the craft.
The three cymbal masters, drawing on nearly 30 years of experience, continue to handcraft cymbals in their workshop, helping their apprentices create perfect cymbals.
In today's society where machine manufacturing is commonplace, please enjoy these exquisite handcrafted items that still adhere to the delicate and high-quality traditional methods of skilled artisans.


The Master Series cymbals use an alloy with a unique blend developed by Bosphorus, resulting in cymbals characterized by a soft, supple, vintage sound. It is the most popular series in the Bosphorus lineup, and its dark, warm, and mysterious tone has earned it strong support from acoustic drummers.

Many products are stocked across Ikebe stores in Japan. As a result, shipment may take several days. In-store sales may also cause items to sell out. If an item is unavailable, we will contact you promptly; in that case, the order will be canceled and any payment will be refunded.

■ Shipping

We use DHL Express for shipping.
Asia: 10–20 days (estimated)
North America and Oceania: 20–30 days (estimated)
