A new "TransAcoustic" acoustic guitar has been released that allows you to apply effects without connecting to an amplifier!

■Product overview

1. A new playing experience where you can apply three different effects using only the guitar itself.

The TAG3 C employs a structure that converts string vibrations into electrical signals, processes them with effects, and transmits them to an actuator (vibrator) installed inside the body, which then vibrates the entire guitar. This allows effect sounds to be produced by the vibrations of the guitar body itself, without connecting an amplifier or speaker. In addition to the conventional "chorus" and "reverb," ​​the TAG3 C features three types of effects: "delay" and "chorus," which is a first for TransAcoustic guitars. Using the dedicated app "TAG Remote," you can switch between each effect type and adjust detailed parameters.


2. Looper function that allows recording and playback on the guitar itself.

This guitar features a built-in "looper" function, allowing you to record your own playing and loop it back. Operation is intuitive using buttons on the side of the guitar and a tap sensor on the top, enabling players to quickly turn phrases into reality and freely express their creativity. The dedicated app, "TAG Remote," also allows you to save up to 10 loop phrases.


3. Audio playback from the device via Bluetooth connection

Offering a new way to enjoy music, this is the first TransAcoustic guitar to feature Bluetooth functionality. By connecting your existing audio device, you can use the guitar itself as a speaker to enjoy audio playback. Furthermore, you can even jam along to your favorite songs using the same guitar.


4. High quality and sophisticated design as an acoustic guitar

This guitar features a solid Sitka spruce top and solid mahogany back and sides. The dreadnought-style body with a cutaway offers both powerful strumming capabilities and excellent playability. Furthermore, it boasts a stylish design with champagne gold hardware and beautiful inlays around the soundhole. It's also the first TransAcoustic guitar to incorporate a lithium-ion battery, allowing for louder playing and extended playing time (up to 5.5 hours). When connected to an amplifier, it can be played as an electric acoustic guitar, making it suitable for live performances.

In terms of condition, there are some minor scratches overall, but no noticeable dents. The frets have plenty of life left, and the neck is in good condition. The truss rod has plenty of adjustment range, so there are no issues with adjustments at present. The electronics were checked upon arrival and no problems were found.
