A recommended used item from the popular Strandberg Boden's cost-effective "Original" series! Manufactured in 2017.

Designed and manufactured by Swedish designer Ola Strandberg, Strandberg Guitars are next-generation guitars incorporating innovative ideas such as multi-hybrid scales/fanned frets, headless construction with original hardware, and ultra-lightweight multi-string construction that pursues ergonomics and balance. They are supported by a new generation of guitarists such as Tosin Abasi (Animals As Leaders) and Misha Mansoor (Periphery), as well as legends like Allan Holdsworth. The Boden Original series retains the design and specifications of the Strandberg Boden guitar, which has already gained worldwide recognition, but achieves a lower price through OEM production (Made in Indonesia).

The "Boden Original 6" inherits the specifications of the previous OEM-produced model "Boden OS" while offering a more affordable price.
The basic wood materials are the same as the OS series, with the body primarily made of two-piece chambered ash wood laminated with a top of approximately 5.5 mm thick flame maple. The neck uses roasted maple, which is also used in the domestically produced J series and custom shop guitars made in Sweden, providing high durability and a more direct sound. Of course, it uses the EndurNeck. shape neck grip, which has a unique shape but is easy to play, and does not feel difficult to play not only with 6 strings but also with 7 and 8 strings. Furthermore, the position markers on the side of the fretboard are luminous dots, which improve visibility on stage and result in a more comfortable playing experience.

The guitar features SSH+ and SSV humbucker pickups from Suhr Guitars, a leading component guitar brand. The SSH+ in the bridge position offers ample power while maintaining excellent chord separation and brightness, making it suitable for a wide range of genres. The SSV in the neck position minimizes unnecessary compression, resulting in a wide-range tone. As these pickups are based on vintage sounds, playing in the neck position provides excellent note separation and keeps up with fast passages.
This particular unit has had its pickup selector changed from a 5-way to a 3-way. It has a simple configuration with front humbucker, front humbucker + rear humbucker, and rear humbucker.

While the control panel of the conventional OS series was made of flame maple to match the body top, this Original model features a metal panel that also incorporates the output jack, similar to the J series and Swedish-made models. The control knobs have also been changed to aluminum ones bearing the Strandberg logo.
The included case is the "Strandberg Standard Gigbag," which, like the final OS series models, is lightweight and compact, making it convenient for carrying around.

This popular series offers a reasonable price while maintaining excellent cost performance and high playability!

We've just received some recommended used items!
There are some minor scratches, dents on the back of the body, and some tarnishing on the parts, but we have performed a full maintenance and cleaning at our shop, so it is ready to use immediately! The 5th string bridge showed signs of wear, so we have replaced it with a new part.

The frets are ready to use and have almost no life left.
The nuts are fine. The truss rod also functions normally and there are no problems with adjustment.

As mentioned earlier, the electrical system has been modified by replacing the pickup selector from a 5-way to a 3-way.
We have performed a full check, so there are no problems with its operation.

The weight is approximately 2.08 kg. It is very lightweight and has a well-balanced design that makes it easy to use.

The only included accessory is the original gig bag.
Wrenches are not included.
