~~~~~The following is the product description for a new item.~~~~~
Since 1961, the Casino has remained a rock and roll standard as Epiphone's legendary best-selling archtop guitar. When it was first released in 1961, the Casino was just one model in a new thinline archtop series designed and produced at Epiphone's new factory in Kalamazoo, Michigan. That factory was shared with Gibson, a former rival with whom Epiphone had just formed a partnership.
The situation changed dramatically when Keith Richards used a Casino while recording the demo for "Satisfaction" at Chess Records in Chicago during the Rolling Stones' 1965 US tour. Howlin' Wolf used a Casino on his first UK tour and appeared on the TV show "Thank Your Lucky Stars." Shortly after, John Lennon and George Harrison of the Beatles bought a Casino for their 1966 world tour, and the rest, as you all know, is history. This guitar features Epiphone PRO P-90 dog-ear single-coil pickups and a layered maple body. It comes in two colors: natural and vintage sunburst. An Epiphone premium gig bag is included.
