Description
A used HOC-KINGFISHER model, supervised by Yu Watanabe, has arrived.

The serial number confirms that this device was manufactured in 2023.

Regarding its condition, there are some unevenness in the frets, mainly on the higher strings in the lower positions.
Currently, there are no issues with sound distortion or rattling.
There are scratches on the bridge pins that appear to be from being removed with pliers or other tools during string changes.
Other than that, there is no significant damage to the instrument itself, but there is some tarnishing on the hardware and signs of use such as scratches typical of a used item.
A slight, distinctive odor resembling tobacco can be detected coming from the soundhole.

Recommended for anyone looking for a versatile electro-acoustic guitar that's comfortable to hold, not just for fingerstyle playing!

This instrument, "HOC-KINGFISHER," was developed under the supervision of fingerstyle guitarist Yu Watanabe.
After trying various body shapes and tonewood combinations, they selected the specifications that best fit Yu Watanabe's preferred playing style: a fingerstyle that combines warmth and transparency.
In terms of design, it incorporates elements from the Headway HDC-1020 King Fisher, a guitar he loved in the past, and adorns the fretboard and headstock with a unique inlay design.

The top is made of solid spruce, and the sides and back are made of Macassar ebony, which has a beautiful grain.
The HOC body shape features a relatively small body and a 628mm medium-scale neck, resulting in a comfortable size that is easy to hold and play.
These guitars are manufactured as part of the Headway Japan Tune-up Series, which involves meticulous adjustments at "Workshop Deviser Guitars" in Matsumoto City, Nagano Prefecture, to achieve performance-ready playability. As a result, they are priced relatively reasonably while still ensuring excellent playability, which is crucial for fingerstyle playing.

This guitar incorporates meticulous details that only a fingerstyle guitarist could achieve, resulting in a superior sound and playability that you can enjoy.

We ship via FedEx. Shipments are fully insured against damage or loss during transit.
