Description

AZ Non-Recess AZ-N Limited Model!!

The AZ, the standard model for the new generation of guitarists.
The AZ-N was created with the concept of providing a versatile clean tone.
This limited edition model features a striking Japanese ash (tamo wood) top with a unique and beautiful grain.

◆Japanese Ash (4mm) top / Alder body
Japanese ash wood (also known as "tamo"), known for its excellent elasticity and durability, features a unique grain pattern that mixes striped and quilted designs, and is widely used in musical instruments, furniture, flooring, and sports equipment such as baseball bats. It is characterized by its clear, bright sound with good projection. Among these, wood with this particular grain pattern is considered rare, and this model luxuriously uses 4mm thick wood as the top material.
The body back is made of alder wood, which has a balanced, bright tone characteristic and excellent sustain.

◆An ergonomic body back contour
This is an original body shape designed with a contemporary aesthetic in mind.
The thin body contour and large elbow contour create a sense of unity between the player and the guitar, greatly contributing to improved playability. The deeper waist of the body also improves handling when held and on stage, resulting in superior playability. The different radius of the corners on the front and back of the body create an ergonomic design that feels comfortable the moment you pick up the guitar, whether sitting or standing.

◆Super All Access Neck Joint
The SuperAll Access neck joint features a stepped carving on the back of the body with an 8mm height difference, and the neck joint is finished with a spherical surface to achieve superior playability.
The cutaway on the bass string side is designed to be shallower, maximizing the contact area between the body and neck. This achieves both high playability and excellent sustain and resonance.

◆AZ Oval C S-TECH WOOD Roasted Maple 1pc neck
This original neck shape was created after measuring and analyzing dozens of guitar neck grips, both from our own company and other manufacturers.
This comfort grip features a smooth, rounded shape from the joint between the fretboard and neck to the fretboard edge. The shape is precisely and reliably reproduced using ball milling.
It uses maple wood treated with ESTEC, a nitrogen heat treatment technology.
Wood treated with ESTEC technology possesses characteristics such as dimensional stability, resistance to warping, water resistance, and resistance to temperature changes, and this technology is patented in Japan.

◆Compound Radius (228mm to 305mm) Fretboard
The compound radius fretboard is suitable for both deep chord forms in the lower positions and lead playing on the higher frets.

◆Seymour Duncan Fortuna pickups
Compared to the Hyperion, which was jointly developed with Seymour Duncan as a pickup specifically for the AZ, the Fortuna pickup, developed for the AZ-N, aims for an even more natural clean tone that can handle a wide range of genres and allows for easier expression of playing nuances.
This is a medium-output pickup designed with compatibility in mind, allowing for use with a variety of pedal effects depending on the situation.

◆Gotoh Magnum Lock machine heads w/HAP
It features Gotoh Magnum Lock machine heads, which are renowned for their tuning stability.
It features a HAP (Height Adjustable Post) mechanism, allowing you to adjust the post height and achieve the appropriate tension for each string.

◆Gotoh T1702B tremolo bridge
The T1702B tremolo bridge features brass saddles and an inertia block, resulting in a warm, bright tone and excellent resonance.
The string spacing is a narrow 10.5mm, designed to make it easier to pick across strings, a feature demanded by players who frequently use string skipping and hybrid picking.
Furthermore, it features an arm socket that allows the use of the Ibanez Edge tremolo arm and the Ultra Light Tremolo Arm (carbon fiber/UTA20/sold separately).
Unlike conventional arms that require twisting, this tremolo arm can be attached with a snap-in mechanism. The torque of the tremolo arm can be easily adjusted by rotating the torque cap on the arm mounting section. In addition, it comes standard with a stud lock mechanism that firmly secures the stud with a set screw embedded in the stud, greatly contributing to tuning stability and resonance.

◆Non-recessed bridge cavity
The top surface of the body has no recess. Because the bridge plate and the guitar body are in direct contact, it features improved expressiveness in dynamics, enhanced reproduction of playing nuances, and excellent resonance.

◆5 tremolo springs w/muting rubber
It features a five-spring system that more effectively transmits string vibrations to the body. A rubber spring mute is installed to suppress spring resonance.

◆Bone nut
It uses oil-impregnated cow bone nuts.
The smooth nut design significantly contributes to tuning stability, while also achieving a resonance similar to that of vintage guitars.

◆Luminlay side dot inlay
These 3.0mm diameter phosphorescent dot position markers offer high visibility, adapting to the rapidly changing performance environment due to lighting and other factors. You'll never lose sight of the notes you want to play, even on a dark stage.
