Description
Description
Marcus Bonna, the founder of MB (Marcus Bonna), played as a horn player in the São Paulo Symphony Orchestra from 1982 to 2002.
During his daily performances, Bona was constantly frustrated by the weight of his horn case, which was a constant source of worry when traveling. He thought, "Isn't there a way to transport the horn more easily and safely?" and "I want more people to enjoy the horn, an instrument I love, without having to deal with unnecessary worries!" With these thoughts in mind, in 1991, he designed his first original horn case, which is light, compact, and has an innovative design.
The fiberglass cases designed by Mr. Bona were far more popular with the orchestra members than Mr. Bona had ever imagined, and they quickly spread throughout the orchestra. This marked the beginning of MB cases.
When the Munich Philharmonic Orchestra performed in São Paulo in 1991, their horn players showed great interest in Mr. Bona's case.
This led to orders coming in not only from within Brazil but also from overseas, and in order to spread these cases to horn players all over the world, Mr. Bona established MB, a company bearing his own name.
Today, MB manufactures not only horn cases, but also cases for trumpets, trombones, clarinets, oboes, bassoons, and many other instruments. Each instrument case is handcrafted and loved by musicians worldwide, establishing MB as a top brand in instrument cases.
The defining features of MB cases are, without a doubt, their lightness, robustness, and compactness...
Each case is meticulously handcrafted, resulting in a beautiful finish and stylish design. A wide variety of colors are available, allowing for the creation of a truly unique custom case.
All products come with convenient backpack or shoulder straps (the type and number of straps included vary depending on the model), cushions to protect the instrument, and other features that thoroughly eliminate any stress that may be placed on the player.
Designed with the primary goal of reducing the mental burden on the performer, MB cases are good news for wind instrument players around the world who have struggled with carrying heavy cases.
