Introducing the APC-1, a unique guitar that brings together all of VOX's technology!
The APC-1 is a unique speaker-equipped guitar that follows the shape of a legendary guitar released by VOX in the 1960s. It features an analog amplifier circuit that utilizes VOX's accumulated amplifier manufacturing technology, and also incorporates the rhythm machine functions and effects used in VOX's digital modeling amplifier, the VOX MINI GO. This guitar is a culmination of VOX's know-how, combining analog and digital technologies. Because it has all the functions necessary to produce sound, there is no need to prepare an amplifier or effects pedals, and you can play with just this guitar. It can be easily used in the living room, outdoors, or as a travel guitar, and can be taken anywhere.
The amplifier section, the heart of the sound, is a redesign based on the legendary tone of the VOX AC30, adapted to the APC-1's speaker unit. By focusing on analog circuitry in this section, a truly authentic sound is achieved. Furthermore, the inclusion of a multi-stage gain circuit perfectly reproduces the complex distortion found in tube amplifiers. The amp-like control section allows for a wide range of sound shaping, from clean to crunch and even drive sounds. A unique feature of this instrument is the ability to control an easy-to-use overdrive-type distortion sound with the GAIN knob, rather than the typical fuzz-like distortion often found in guitars with speakers.
The effects and rhythm machine utilize the technology of the VOX MINI GO series of digital modeling amplifiers. The effects include chorus, tremolo, delay, and reverb. The delay and reverb also feature tap tempo functionality. The rhythm machine offers 11 different genres, including a metronome. Each genre has three variations, resulting in a total of 33 built-in rhythm patterns.

Many products are stocked across Ikebe stores in Japan. As a result, shipment may take several days. In-store sales may also cause items to sell out. If an item is unavailable, we will contact you promptly; in that case, the order will be canceled and any payment will be refunded.

■ Shipping

We ship via FedEx. Shipments are fully insured against damage or loss during transit.
