Bass Workshop's interpretation of the multi-scale BTB model, an overseas-only specification.

The BTB bass features a 5-piece neck combining maple, known for its clear sound and attack, with hard walnut, offering long sustain, rich resonance, and high rigidity thanks to its through-neck construction. Graphite rods are installed inside the neck to further enhance rigidity. The long sustain, rich resonance, and seamless playability across the entire fretboard, all provided by the through-neck construction, are arguably the greatest features of the BTB bass.

5th string side: 37~1st string side: Extra long multi-scale
By setting the scale length of the Low-B string (5th string) to 37, a stronger tension is achieved on the lower strings compared to the standard BTB model, resulting in a clearer and more focused sound when tuned down.
This Ibanez bass features the most extreme fan-shaped multi-scale design, offering significant advantages, especially for technical fingering in the higher fret range. (Note: This requires practice and familiarity, and is not suitable for all players or playing styles.)

The wing body, which sandwiches the neck, is made of Okoume wood, which is rich in mid-low frequency characteristics and has a warm tone.
The deeply sculpted cutaway body contributes to ease of playing in the higher positions, and the horn shape is designed with good balance in mind when playing while standing.

The Ibanez T1 pickup is an original humbucker with two separate coils, designed to deliver a sound with tight bass response, punchy midrange, and clear treble. The rounded cover edges make it easy to rest your fingers on, and the two pickups are slightly offset so that their ends are almost parallel to the strings, resulting in a level of playability not found in other multi-scale models.

・Equipped with a string spacing adjustment mechanism: The MR5S (monorail) bridge has an independent bridge for each string, directly transmitting string vibrations to the body. In addition, the saddle has a structure that allows it to move 1.5 mm from side to side, so the string spacing can be freely set within a fixed range.

• Active 3-band EQ with 3-pattern mid-range frequency switching switch & EQ bypass switch. This equalizer produces a wide-range, low-noise active sound, allowing you to switch the mid-range frequency band to 250Hz, 450Hz, or 700Hz. Furthermore, it features an EQ bypass switch, allowing it to be used as a passive bass. (When bypassed: Tone control with the Treble knob)

- Zero frets offer improved intonation accuracy and minimize the difference between open and fretted sounds. - Stainless steel frets are characterized by their bright tone and high durability.

• Neutrik jack with a locking mechanism to prevent the plug from falling out.
