Description
Description
The Ibanez WH10 wah pedal, favored by many renowned professionals for its wide range, responsiveness, and broad adjustment range, has gained widespread recognition.
The WH10V3, the third-generation model following the first generation which became a staple in the vintage market and the evolved second generation, debuted after a review of its specifications and sound.
The new model eliminates the DRY OUT and features a switch to toggle between true bypass and buffered bypass, allowing players to select the bypass method that best suits the pedals or amplifiers they connect after the WH10V3.
Furthermore, we have reviewed the switches and cushioning parts, paying attention to the feel of the pedal when turning it on and off, to improve its ease of use as stage gear.
Unlike typical inductor-type wah pedals where the amount of gain changes depending on the frequency range, this pedal uses an operational amplifier amplification circuit, maintaining the same gain across all frequency ranges, just like previous WH10 models. For example, by selecting true bypass mode, moving the pedal to choose a desired frequency, fixing the pedal in place, and then adjusting the boost amount with the DEPTH control, it can be used as a booster specifically for a particular frequency.
One of the WH10's key features is its ability to switch the wah effect frequency range between Guitar (350Hz to 2.2kHz) and Bass (175Hz to 1.1kHz) to achieve the optimal wah sound.
Some people, like a certain famous professional musician, can also enjoy the tricky and distinctive wah sound by applying effects to their guitar in bass mode.
There are some minor scratches and stains on the exterior, showing slight signs of use, but it is in relatively good condition.
It works perfectly.
