Description

Recommended used item! Suhr's interpretation of the 70s: the Classic T Thinline "ALT T Pro"!!
We've received a recommended used, authentic "Suhr Guitars" guitar, a brand that boasts worldwide popularity among both professional and amateur guitarists!
This is a highly recommended, genuine, pre-owned ALT T Pro, a popular model that reimagines the TL-style "Classic T" with a thinline body! Manufactured in 2016, this guitar boasts a beautiful Swamp Ash body with a striking Vintage Natural finish!

Suhr is a leading brand of component guitars, enjoying immense support from numerous top musicians and recognized worldwide as a leading producer of high-end guitars. While they usually focus on custom orders based on their basic models, the Pro Series allows for production limited to specifications and finish colors specified by John Suhr himself, achieving a style that is difficult to achieve with custom orders but is considered mass production within the workshop. As a result, the Pro Series offers excellent cost performance. Consequently, costs are reduced through an efficient production system, and the lineup allows more players to experience the capabilities and appeal of Suhr Guitars without compromising the quality of the guitars themselves.

The specifications, including the wood materials, pickups, and hardware, are always set to popular combinations, and in a sense, this style fully showcases what makes Suhr unique.

The TL-style "Classic T," which enjoys far greater popularity globally than in the Japanese market, has been redesigned with a thinline body. The ALT T Pro combines a 70s-inspired mood with a stoic individuality!

The thinline body, accentuated by the F-holes, is crafted from Swamp Ash, a material that meets stringent selection criteria! The beautiful grain of the Swamp Ash wood is beautifully complemented by the Vintage Natural finish!
This instrument is remarkably lightweight, weighing approximately 2.96 kg! It delivers a light and airy sound with quick response and a rich sense of spaciousness emanating from the soundhole!

The neck is a quarter-sawn maple neck with a laminated maple fingerboard. The neck shape is Even C Medium.
The combination of a thinline body and a high-quality swamp ash body creates a superb sound that is both fast, responsive, and airy—a hallmark of the TL type!

The 9-12 inch compound radius fingerboard and medium-sized stainless steel frets provide smooth playability.

The pickups feature the highly acclaimed "Thornbucker" model, which comes as a set with a beautiful hairline-finished, non-plated cover. It retains the exquisite vintage tone expected of a TL-type guitar, while offering the bright, sustained presence that is uniquely Suhr!
The 5-way lever switch allows you to select coil-tapped sounds with a single action. The ability to create sounds ranging from delicate and transparent clean tones to pleasant drive sounds is a testament to Suhr's commitment to professional specifications!

The hardware is also impeccably selected; the Suhr original locking tuners not only ensure tuning stability but also allow for quick string changes, addressing unexpected problems on stage. The cut Wilkinson bridge delivers the traditional 3-saddle sound while its angle relative to the string length allows for octave adjustment, eliminating the pitch inaccuracy characteristic of Telecasters.

This is an exceptional instrument that combines a classic look with the quality and sound grade that only Suhr can offer!
This model offers a truly satisfying playing experience, allowing you to play it roughly or tightly depending on the player's style!

We've just received a recommended used item that's genuine! It's a 2016 model.
There are some minor scratches, pick scratches on the pickguard, dents on the back of the neck, tarnishing on the pickup covers and parts, but it's in pretty good condition overall! There are no issues that would affect playability. We have performed a full maintenance and cleaning at our shop, so it's ready to use right away!
The end pin has been replaced. (The original end pin is not included.)

The frets are in good working order and have very little life left as they are made of stainless steel.
The nuts are in good working order and function normally. The truss rods also function correctly for normal adjustments.

The electrical system has also been fully checked, so there are no problems with its operation.

As mentioned earlier, the weight is approximately 2.96 kg. It's quite lightweight and has a well-balanced design that makes it easy to use.
This guitar features a beautiful Swamp Ash body with a stunning Vintage Natural finish that beautifully complements the wood grain!

The included accessories are a Suhr Deluxe Gig Bag, wrenches, an arm, and a copy of the spec sheet.

■John Suhr
John Suhr has a long and distinguished career, having demonstrated his abundant talents in a wide range of fields!
In the mid-1970s in New Jersey, he began his career building his own instruments, pursuing the perfect tone since his days playing in bar bands.
In the early 1980s, he began working under Rudy Penza at Rudy's Music in New York, starting the famous Pensa-Suhr guitars. He went on to craft guitars for world-renowned legends such as Mark Knopfler, Eric Clapton, and Peter Frampton.
After that, in 1991 he left New York and moved to California, where he began working alongside Bob Bradshaw and joined Custom Audio Electronics. There, he co-designed the legendary CAA 3+ and 3+SE tube preamps, as well as the CAA OD100 amplifier. Alongside this, he produced a small number of guitars bearing his own name, the Suhr CUSTOM.
Later, he received an offer from Fender and, in 1995, at John Page's request, joined the Fender Custom Shop as a Senior Master Builder. He also built and supplied guitars for Michael Landau, Scott Henderson, Peter Frampton, and others.
Then, in 1997, he left Fender and launched his own brand, Suhr Guitars (JS Technologies Inc.)!
With his diverse career and talents, he truly deserves to be called a genius!
