The RED DEVIL is a pickup that captures the nuances of Billy Gibbons' beloved 1959 Les Paul, also known as the "Pearly Gates," in a single-coil humbucker.
This pickup features an Alnico 5 magnet, a first for a single-coil humbucker, to reproduce Billy's signature fat, crisp tone in a compact size. The bridge position retains the classic Pearly Gates sound but with a fatter tone, while the neck position slightly reduces output, making it ideal for sweet, bluesy rhythm and lead guitars! This pickup select produces a rich, mellow tone, making it the perfect choice for Gibson enthusiasts looking for a single-coil humbucker pickup with a Gibson-like feel in their Fender guitars. It also offers a thick, well-defined tone when used with bolt-on guitars, making it a versatile selection for a wide range of musical styles!

The center pickup is a Player series single-coil pickup that respects tradition while maintaining an innovative spirit. It outputs a clear and powerful sound!

The 5-way switch features a 5-position blade: Position 1. Bridge Pickup, Position 2. Bridge Tap and Middle Pickup, Position 3. Middle Pickup, Position 4. Middle and Neck Humbucker Pickup, and Position 5. Neck Pickup. The half-tone at Position 2 is the Tap half-tone that sounds on the outside of the bridge, while the half-tone at Position 4 is the humbucker of the neck pickup. The lower half-tones offer a sharper sound, while the upper half-tones offer a fatter sound, allowing for a wide range of sound creation!

The comfortable, modern C-shaped maple neck with a smooth finish is perfect for any playing style. The 22nd medium-jumbo fret on the modern 9.5"-radius fingerboard allows for versatile musical expression. The updated two-point tremolo design reduces friction on the posts, providing a smooth playing feel and exceptional tuning stability. Other features include master volume and tone controls, a 5-way pickup switch, a 3-ply pickguard, a synthetic bone nut, a dual-wing string tree, sealed tuning machines and an F-stamped four-bolt neck plate that marks this instrument as the real deal—as Fender as it gets.

This time, we have a recommended used item in stock! It is made in 2019.
As mentioned above, this is a modified model with the neck and bridge pickups replaced with Seymour Duncan Red Devil neck and bridge pickups. The bridge pickup is the original Player Series Alnico 5 Strat Single-Coil. (The original pickups are not included.)

There are some minor scratches, dents on the back of the body, scratches on the sides of the body, scratches from playing on the pickguard, and some tarnish on parts, but this does not affect playability. It has been fully serviced and cleaned at our shop, so it's ready to play right away! The back panel is missing.

The frets are in good condition and most of them remain. The nut has been adjusted. There are no problems with using it as is. The truss rod can be adjusted normally.

The electrical system has been fully checked and there are no problems with operation.

The weight is approximately 3.64 kg. It's well-balanced to produce a solid sound!
