The Beta5 bass guitar boasts superb operability with 24 frets, and is available in our custom color!
The immensely popular Atelier Z-style 24-fret bass, the Beta, features a resonant ash body and a Bartolini XTCT preamp, delivering a sharp, articulate sound, as well as a punchy, powerful attack.
While it certainly excels in the Atelier signature boomy sound, it's tuned for a more neutral, slightly flatter sound than the flagship model, the M#265. Furthermore, the bold heel-cut joint and 24-fret design make it particularly playable, delivering a tight, crisp tone despite its small body, making it a versatile sound suitable for any genre. Following a March 2025 renewal, the pickups are equipped with the company's original "JZ" pickups, which combine a split structure with slant pole pieces, providing both noise resistance and power.
In terms of controls, the previous [2Volume] has been changed to [Master Volume, Balancer], which allows for smoother control, and the controls are now "Master Volume/Master Tone (Stack), Balancer, Treble, Bass (Pull/Passive)". The treble/bass now have a click at 50% as a guide for the amount of preamp boost, making it easier to adjust to your liking.
This model features a faded blue color that changes from bright blue from the head to the end of the body, combined with black hardware, giving it a unique yet refined look.
Be sure to experience the Beta series, which is also used by Mutsumi, an incredibly technical bassist who has gained popularity mainly on YouTube and social media.
