[MARCIN]
Polish acoustic guitarist/composer/producer MARCIN (aka Marcin Patrzalek) is known for his energetic approach to percussive acoustic guitar, whose roots lie in the classical guitar he began learning at the age of 10, and the flamenco he later studied under Spanish master Carlos Piñana.
His exceptional musical talent has led him to be the winner of two major European talent shows and a semi-finalist on America's Got Talent, and his music videos and performances have garnered well over 150 million views online and have been featured worldwide in notable media outlets such as Rolling Stone, Metal Hammer, Classic FM, Guitar World and Billboard.
Once you listen to his arrangements of classic rock and classical masterpieces such as Beethoven's Moonlight Sonata and Fifth Symphony, and Led Zeppelin's Kashmir, as well as his original tracks by Snow Monkey, you will fully understand why he is a leader of a new era and what his appeal is.
[MRC10-NT]
This signature model, based on Marcin's beloved Ibanez AE model, features Ibanez XM bracing and a scratch pad, reinforced for body tapping. His attention to detail is evident not only in the design of the rosette, inlays, and bridge pins, but also in the hardware, including the Fishman Rare Earth pickup and preamp, which allows for a blend of magnetic and microphone inputs, and the Gotoh SGS510Z machine heads, renowned for their stable operation and stability.
- Custom bracing reinforced for body tapping: To accommodate Marcin's playing style, which makes extensive use of body tapping, the Ibanez original XM bracing has been reinforced near the sound hole on the 6th string side. This is particularly effective in achieving a rich palm sound.
- Scratch Pad: An oil-finished solid Sitka spruce scratch pad is installed near the cutaway on the first string side of the body top. This creates a different feel when scratching or tapping than when directly contacting the body top, adding a unique flavor to percussive playing.
- Solid Sitka spruce top, Pau Ferro sides and back
The body is made of solid Sitka spruce for the top, which is characterized by a wide range of brilliant highs and rich lows, while the sides and back are made of perfero, which has a well-balanced tone and rich mid-range characteristics.
[Special package for slam players!!]
The slam technique, which is heavily used in Marushin's playing style, uses a technique called palm, which reproduces a bass drum-like sound.
Furthermore, in order to bring out even more percussive sounds, such as body scratches and body taps, which are created by striking the body, even in the line sound, an Infini Custom Works contact pickup (R-Zero Contact Pro BACNT) was added, customizing the guitar as a dual pickup system specialized for slam playing.
This guitar allows you to fully enjoy the heavy body tap sound that cannot be fully picked up by the Rare Earth Blend condenser microphone.
Enjoy the powerful slam technique to your heart's content!
~Enfini Custom Works R-Zero Contact Pro BACNT is used for the contact piezo on the sub side (ring side)~
This is an original contact pickup that is handcrafted from piezo elements and installed by Mitsunori Fujioka, president of Infini Custom Works, a company renowned for producing some of the best acoustic guitar pickup systems in the industry, to suit the characteristics of each individual guitar.
This time, we have selected the BACNT, a bass-enhanced model that is also suitable for slam playing techniques!
The extremely lightweight design allows for a vivid acoustic sound, powerful bass, and palm sound without compromising the sound of the guitar itself.
In addition, by using a rare earth blend in the pickup on the main side (tip), it is possible to output a solid line sound with just one mono cable, without using a dual preamp.
※※※
Because it has dual pickups, it is a pickup system that uses a stereo cable to connect to a preamplifier or amplifier that has 2-channel input.
This guitar does not come with a stereo cable, preamp, etc. We can also provide guidance and suggestions on peripheral equipment and how to use it.
We can also install a similar pickup system on your guitar. Please feel free to contact Hartman Guitars' representative, Mr. Akita, for more information.
