Description
Eric's eternal wife color, Blackie! This highly recommended pre-owned player's condition guitar, crafted by current God's purveyor, Senior Master Builder Todd Clowes, is now in stock! It was made in 2004!
Needless to say, this is a pre-owned, highly-recommended Clapton Stratocaster NOS, crafted by Todd Clowes, the current purveyor of the legendary Eric Clapton! It was manufactured in 2004. Its coloring is Eric's eternal companion, Blackie. While the headstock does not say "Blackie," the certificate states it is a Custom Clapton Stratocaster.
The maple neck, with its subtle flame grain, is equipped with a noiseless pickup. And what's particularly noteworthy is the godlike, slender, edgy neck feel, created by Todd Clowes, the man behind the divine fingering of recent years! Eric himself was probably driven by the urge to play forever!
The tuning machines are a selection of EC models from the mid-2000s, and are equipped with a staggered type in which the height of the posts decreases from the 6th string to the 1st string, allowing for an exquisite balance of tension for each string!
This is his own custom design, with an alder body and five springs sandwiched between pieces of wood to completely secure it in place!
It weighs approximately 3.49 kg. While many Clapton models tend to be quite heavy, this particular model is well-balanced, providing both ease of use and a solid sound.
This versatile model combines vintage Noiseless pickups with staggered-pole Alnico V magnets and a stacked coil design for a classic Strat tone while suppressing noise, with an active mid-boost circuit for a thicker, more versatile tone. The assembly is the exact same spec as the one used by the individual guitarist from the mid-2000s, with a mid-boost and no TBX control!
The EC model is a wonderful guitar that can be used for all purposes, not just by Eric's fans!
Eric Clapton's 2025 Japan tour was also amazing!
At 80 years old, Kami certainly seemed to be getting older, but rather than fighting against aging, he faced his 80-year-old self as if he was his true self, enjoying the music and communicating with the audience, and gave us a wonderful live performance!
He played in a relaxed manner, but when he switched on, his mature technique made me realize once again that he is indeed a legendary guitarist who is called a god!
This time, we have a recommended used player's condition guitar in stock! It was made in 2004.
There is discoloration of the entire single-ply pickguard, and there are gaps of approximately 1.0 mm and 0.5 mm on the left side of the pickguard due to aging, but neither of these affects playability or poses any problems.
There are small scratches, dents, buckle scratches, scratches from playing on the body and pickguard, thinning of the paint, small scratches and dents on the back of the neck around the 2nd to 4th frets, and dullness on the metal parts, but this guitar has a great atmosphere! None of these affect playability or cause any problems.
Although there are scratches, dents, and signs of use, we have maintained and cleaned it at our shop, so it is ready to use right away. The "Noiseless" lettering on the pickup cover has faded, but this does not affect its operation.
The frets have been filed and are ready to use. Approximately 75% of the frets remain.
There is no problem with using the nut, and there is no problem with normal adjustment of the truss rod.
The electrical system has been fully checked and there are no problems with operation.
Accessories include the original tweed case, key, arm, certificate, and neck wrench.
This is a guitar that will awaken your blues spirit!
Don't miss it!!
