-Ludwig Drum Company-
The Ludwig Drum Company was founded in Chicago in 1909 by brothers Theo and William Ludwig.
They manufactured the world's first practical foot pedal, and with this success a drumming company was born.
The know-how cultivated since the company's founding is still passed down today, and the company offers a balance of tradition and innovation to meet the needs of artists around the world.

-Legacy Mahogany FAB Outfit Black CAT-
Ludwig has built a long history of tradition, and the "Black Cat" is the latest addition to the Legacy Mahogany Series Vintage Selection, a limited edition model that symbolizes the 1940s and continues that tradition, with a sound that was recognized worldwide.
The mahogany wood has previously been considered difficult to paint, but now it has been lacquered to create a new black stain color, with a bold design featuring a maple wood hoop accented with silver sparkle inlays.
This drum set combines the iconic Ludwig sound with the beauty of the past, complete with an enamel badge that marks it as a limited edition item.
Only 40 units will be released worldwide, and this is the only one available in Japan. This is a fantastic drum set, so don't miss your chance to purchase one.

The Legacy Mahogany series is the pinnacle of the professional series, a reproduction of Ludwig's signature vintage shell techniques with a modern twist.
The three-ply mahogany + poplar + mahogany shell features a maple reinforcement ring. The edges are gently rounded, delivering the traditional sound that Ludwig established, a masterpiece from the past.
A thick, inclusive sound with a rich mid-low range that gives off an enveloping, full feeling.
With a soft touch, gentle attack, and full, natural sustain, it blends comfortably into music and ensembles.
