Copper shell now joins the Gretsch USA metal snare drum lineup.
The designation C2 can be interpreted as both 2mm thick copper and the second generation of the recent copper shell specification. The first generation had a 1mm thick shell with Micro Sensitive Throwoff specifications, and was a popular model for a short period of time from around 2016 to 2018.
The second generation G4160C2 & G4164C2 have a 2mm thick shell with a center knurling, and while they have the excellent high-frequency response typical of metal bodies, they also have a dark presence and a well-balanced sound with heavy bass and a more focused midrange.
With its die-cast hoop, Lightning Throwoff hardware, and 42 snare wires, this snare drum delivers the dynamic response you expect from Gretsch, making it ideal for a wide range of uses, from live performances to studio work.

Many products are stocked across Ikebe stores in Japan. As a result, shipment may take several days. In-store sales may also cause items to sell out. If an item is unavailable, we will contact you promptly; in that case, the order will be canceled and any payment will be refunded.

■ Shipping

We ship via FedEx. Shipments are fully insured against damage or loss during transit.
