Description
We have a great deal on a used Elitist 1965 Casino Vintage, a Japan-exclusive model with various updates!
The Casino is synonymous with Epiphone, beloved by musicians worldwide, including John Lennon and Paul McCartney. This model was sold as a Japan Limited edition with authentic 1965-style specifications. While it may be interesting to see how it differs from the standard Elitist 1965 Casino, it features a 3-ply body, vintage-style headstock, 17-degree headstock, GOTOH Kluson-type tuning machines, Delrin nut, Delrin bridge saddles, and a lacquer finish. Built with Japan's advanced assembly technology, this highly sought-after instrument is a must-have for enthusiasts. The electronics include Gibson USA-made P90 pickups, CTS potentiometers, Orange Drop capacitors, and a nitrocellulose lacquer finish—all meticulous attention to detail only possible with a Made in Japan guitar. Another must-have feature is the included 1960s-style gray hard case.
The condition of this guitar is in player's condition, with scattered dents and scratches throughout, tarnished parts, a missing E mark on the pickguard, and grainy lacquer. The frets remain at about 60-70% of their original height, and there are no issues with playability, including the neck and electronics, making it a guitar you can continue to enjoy. The Casino is synonymous with Epiphone, and there's no other model with such a thorough update, making it highly sought after in the used market. Don't miss this opportunity!
