Description
Description
Beloved by guitar fans for its striking design and sharp rock 'n' roll sound, the Firebird is rarely seen due to its extremely limited production numbers, both in regular and custom versions. This rare, high-quality pre-owned Firebird V is a rare find! This 2001 Custom Shop Historic Collection 1965 Firebird V Reissue features a cool ebony finish.
First of all, you'll be captivated by its irreplaceable looks! It's not just the looks that are astonishing; the 9-ply neck-through construction, made from a combination of mahogany and walnut, offers a glimpse of Gibson's pride as a leader at the forefront of its time. The mahogany body bonded to the neck is not a flat joint, but rather a "U"-shaped joint. This increases the joint area of the neck-through, which can often produce a cold sound, and enhances the fullness of the body resonance, a key factor in producing a tone that remains inimitable to this day!
This pre-owned 1965 Firebird V was manufactured in 2001. It features a unique body shape, a long vibrator with leaf springs, and, since it's a "V" type, a Gibson Tune-O-Matic ABR-1 bridge. The sound is typical of a custom shop product, with a resonant body feel, and the Firebird's signature crisp mini-humbucker tone is faithfully reproduced! The guitar's efforts to enhance the body's resonance are a major factor in producing a tone that remains inimitable to this day.
The Firebird's unique mini-humbucker pickups, with their sharp, crisp sound and rich fullness, are a unique feature not found in other models. The Maestro Vibrato, with its brilliance and outstanding presence, is also cool! The low string tension and leaf spring construction add a crisp accent to the sound, creating an edgy tone.
The banjo tuning machines, with knobs located on the back of the headstock, are still in place here! It's easy to see why the "V" (Five) is the most beloved model in the Firebird family, even among the many variations in the instrument, thanks to its diverse range of individuality.
Beyond its rockin' look, this model has a playable sound that blends in perfectly with any band! If you own a Firebird model, you'll feel like you're in a league of your own! This guitar is perfect for band members looking for a guitar that exudes a special aura!
This time, we have a recommended used item in stock! It is made in 2001.
