-Custom Shop Factory Wood Selection Custom Model-
The Martin Custom Shop is the pinnacle of modern Martin, where all products are handmade by around 20 skilled craftsmen, only the most skilled of whom are allowed to work in the vast factory.
This is a carefully crafted masterpiece, created by Ikebe Musical Instruments' acoustic staff who visited the Martin factory and selected the finest wood materials that are only used in custom shops.
This is an Ikebe original custom model of Martin's top-of-the-line model, the 000-45.
It has been customized with a Golden Era Style look that is reminiscent of the pre-war era of the 1930s, with its gorgeous and elegant appearance, special materials selected, and specifications that boast modern playability.
The top is made of Adirondack spruce, with its pure white color and beautiful grain, while the back and sides are made of Madagascar rosewood, a rare material that Martin was able to use as a special offer for this limited time only. Both materials are luxuriously selected to be the highest quality, premium grade.
Due to its rarity, Madagascar rosewood is currently discontinued by Martin for both regular models and custom orders. However, it was reissued in limited quantities for this factory order tour, and only participating dealers were allowed to order it. This piece, carefully selected from the limited stock, features straight, densely packed grain and a deep, lustrous reddish-brown color, making it a magnificent material reminiscent of pre-war straight-grained Jacaranda.
The rich, full-bodied, sweet, and dense tone is a result of the combination of the Adirondack top and Madagascar rosewood back and sides. Combined with the gorgeous, yet soft and exquisite overtones characteristic of the 000-45, this guitar produces a superb sound.
The inside of the body uses Adirondack wood for the bracing of the popular GE-style Scallop X, so it responds well to even the gentlest touches.
The performance neck features a 44.5mm width and a thin shape, boasting outstanding playability for both fingerstyle and tight-grip playing styles.
This guitar features a classic style with a beautiful snowflake fingerboard inlay in select abalone, a CFM vertical logo, subdued antique white binding, and Waverley tuning machines. A key feature is the use of ebony for the headstock veneer, which allows the slender, elegant GE-style vertical logo to stand out clearly. This custom-made guitar features a tortoiseshell veneer, a design characteristic of some pre-war models, but this one allows you to enjoy the beauty of the natural wood grain.
Thanks to a special offer from Martin, we were able to create a special guitar that we will likely never see again.
This is a product that I would recommend to anyone who is particular about both sound and looks.
Don't miss out on this rare opportunity!
