MOTU M2 and M4 interfaces feature the same ESS Sabre32 Ultra DAC technology found in expensive audio interfaces and luxury purists, delivering an astounding 120 dB dynamic range at their main outputs. ESS converters also provide headphone outputs that rival those found in professional headphone amplifiers. The ultra-clean preamp circuitry delivers a measured EIN of -129 dBu at the microphone input, ensuring you capture and monitor audio with pristine clarity.
The M2/M4 driver provides a loopback channel to your host computer, allowing you to stream your computer's audio, along with a live microphone or guitar input, as a mix to your favorite podcast platform, YouTube, or a live streaming app in real time. With the MOTU M2/M4, streaming and podcasting has never been easier or sounded better!
Audio-Technica AT2040 Details: The AT2040 employs a hypercardioid pattern that narrows the directivity even further than a unidirectional pattern.
