Description
Description
This special guitar was custom-made for vocalists, with materials selected in collaboration with the artisans at Yairi Studio!
K.YAIRI is a Japanese brand that has maintained its craftsman spirit since the 1970s, with the motto "Made in Japan, from a workshop in Kani City, Gifu Prefecture," and a style of handcrafted production by a small, elite team of around 30 people.
The brand offers a wide range of products, from custom models to affordable models, but its commitment to making everything in Japan has made it popular not only in Japan but around the world, with fans all over the world.
This "WY CTM" is a one-of-a-kind, special custom model that was created by our store staff, who designed the specifications from scratch to create a model that would be recommended for singer-songwriters and band singers, and traveled to the Yairi workshop in Gifu to select the materials.
Based on the WY-1, which is extremely popular among singer-songwriters thanks to its compact, easy-to-hold body and bright, clear sound for both strokes and arpeggios, this model features an all-solid body, GOTOH 510 tuning machines with excellent tuning stability, and the LRBaggs Anthem Stage Pro pickup system, which delivers a vivid sound. It has been customized to deliver the best performance possible, not only for everyday performances but also for recording and live performances.
The top is made of tightly grained cedar, which has a supple tap tone, and the back and sides are made of tightly grained mahogany. Together with the skilled craftsmen at Yairi Studio, we carefully select each piece from our extensive wood stock, carefully selecting the wood that offers the best tap tone and looks.
This instrument features the soft, crisp, and bright sound that is unique to the combination of cedar and mahogany. It is finished with a satin finish, which fills the closed pores in the wood grain, giving it a moderate sheen and a luxurious feel and appearance. It was selected to produce a softer, lighter tone that matches the bright sound of mahogany.
Unlike the regular model, this model features an all-solid wood body, resulting in a more dynamic and full-bodied sound. The materials were also carefully selected to withstand strong strokes and respond flexibly to light touches, making it well-suited for a variety of vocal styles, from intense strokes to delicate fingerpicking.
The neck features a thin, U-shaped neck profile with a 44mm nut width that's neither too narrow nor too wide. It's easy to grip even for those with smaller hands, and the medium 635mm scale length ensures that the body responds well to even the most gentle touch, making it easy to play even for beginners and women.
The pickups are LRBaggs Stage Pro Anthem. This system is the pinnacle of LRBaggs' popular dual-system Anthem, and features an onboard preamp controller. Two-band EQ, master volume, and piezo and mic blend controls make it easy to tailor your sound for live performances and recordings, while a notch filter provides feedback protection. The under-saddle piezo and condenser mic dual system delivers a natural, solid line sound with comfortable operation.
The tuners are the popular "GOTOH 510" tuners, known for their high precision and modern look. They provide accurate tuning even in demanding situations like live performances and recording sessions. The details were carefully selected, including flame maple binding to complement the mahogany color.
This is a product we are confident in, packed with charm in both sound and looks that you won't find in regular products!
Considering the level of perfection and luxurious specs, the price is surprisingly reasonable...
This is a special custom model that is one of a kind, so don't miss this opportunity to purchase one!
