The newly released "PACIFICA StandardPlus" is a newly designed model that further evolves the existing PACIFICA series for guitarists pursuing their ideal sound.
The body construction utilizes Yamaha's proprietary "Acoustic Design" technology to enhance resonance, and the new "Reflectone" pickup, developed in collaboration with Rupert Neve Designs, is designed to accommodate today's diverse musical genres. The clear, balanced sound delivers everything from delicate phrasing to straightforward tones, while also allowing guitarists who use a lot of effects to create a smooth sound. The built-in high-pass filter also allows for delicate playing without losing high frequencies, even when the volume is turned down.
The newly adopted neck shape and curved neck joint, which allows for easy access to the upper positions, provide excellent playability and further stimulate the player's imagination. The fingerboard is available in two types: rosewood and maple, and the body color is available in a variety of distinctive colors inspired by "city pop."

Yamaha's proprietary Acoustic Design, a scientific design process that utilizes acoustic analysis and 3D modeling, has been applied to the body, achieving rich midrange and tight low frequencies. Furthermore, our original Reflecton pickups, developed in collaboration with Rupert Neve Designs, produce a clear sound that combines powerful lows and brilliant highs. The Reflecton HSS pickups, which control the output of each pickup, provide excellent balance and compatibility with amplifiers and effects, making them suitable for a wide range of musical genres and offering the expressive power to support players' unique sound creation.

2. High Playability Allows You to Focus on Performance The body shape has been redesigned with a contoured design to fit your body comfortably. The slim neck is easy to grip and is ideal for modern playing. The curved neck heel eliminates stress even in the higher positions, allowing you to concentrate on your performance. The satin neck finish ensures a smooth playing feel, and the fingerboard is available in two types: rosewood, which is characterized by a warm tone and smooth attack, and maple, which is characterized by a bright, crisp attack.

3. A distinctive color lineup inspired by city pop: "City pop" is a Japanese music genre from the 1980s that has been rediscovered around the world in recent years. The new body colors are inspired by the Southern California coastline depicted on city pop record jackets, which are colored in a Japanese style.
