Description
Description
Used PRS Custom 22 10top now in stock!
This guitar is in truly player-condition, showing evidence of having been played in a variety of venues. Its gorgeous quilted maple top, befitting a 10-top, is sure to satisfy any owner's desire for ownership. The 635mm scale, somewhere between Fender and Gibson, offers just the right amount of tension and ease of play. While simple, the coil taps allow for a wide variety of sound characteristics, making it truly versatile. Unfortunately, the veneer finish on the headstock and the eagle inlay appear to be post-installations and are not original, and there are numerous modifications, making this guitar a bargain price.
This particular guitar is in excellent player condition, with a crack in the front escutcheon, aging-related scuffs, scratches, dents, and chips throughout the body, along with tarnished hardware and rust, and some cloudy paint. The pickups have been replaced with Seymour Duncan SH1N and SH4 pickups, the tuning machines have been replaced with GOTOH locking tuning machines, the nut (material unknown), and the endpin have all been replaced. The frets remain at about 70% of their original height, and there are no issues with the neck, truss rod, or electrical system. This guitar is sure to be a long-lasting favorite. Paul Reed Smith prices have been soaring in recent years! Don't miss this opportunity!
