Introducing the Ash Thorn Signature Snare Drum!

A British "session great" whose groove and sound are essential to the expression of various artists.
Ash Thorn's main snare will be released as a signature model.
The specifications of this snare drum are a harmonious blend of Gretsch Drums tradition and Ash's ideas and requests.

The size is set to 12 inches in diameter and 7 inches in depth, and the shell is made of Purple Heart material, a first for GretschDrums.
With 9 plies and a double 45° bearing edge, this guitar is unique from the regular Gretsch USA Custom Series.
Purpleheart wood is characterized by a vintage, acoustic-sounding snare sound that adds a slightly more solid essence to enhance its punch.
Despite its small 12-inch size, the depth is set to ensure shell resonance, and it has a hard yet calm mid-range, making it suitable for backbeats in vocals.

The natural purpleheart wood and GretschDrums' signature nitrocellulose lacquer clear finish gradually turn to a dark brown over time, allowing you to enjoy the unique texture that makes this model so appealing.
