Description
American Dream (AD) series
Values in line with the times, born out of the adversity caused by the global coronavirus crisis.
The AD17e features a classic Taylor style natural top and tortoiseshell pickguard. The Ovangkol back and sides, combined with the spruce top, provide a low-end and midrange focus similar to rosewood. The Grand Pacific (GP) body shape produces a warm acoustic tone reminiscent of vintage acoustic recordings.
Despite its simple design, the ultra-thin matte finish produces a powerful sound. The body edges are chamfered for excellent playability.
The American Dream (AD) Series was designed with the belief that "in times like these, the world needs music," creating simpler, more affordable, American-made guitars for working musicians. Reflecting the principles of innovation and resourcefulness that have always helped Taylor get through tough times, the series is named after the guitar workshop that Bob Taylor and Kurt Listag borrowed from their parents and friends to buy in 1974 to start Taylor Guitars.
There are dents and scratches, and the guitar shows signs of use overall. The nut and bridge saddle have been replaced with bone ones. The frets and neck are in good condition, but the neck angle has been adjusted, and some of the putty at the joints has peeled off. However, the playing surface is still usable without any problems.
The AD series is a rare model on the used market, so don't miss this chance!
