Description
Description
We have a pre-owned Gibson Chet Atkins Tennessean, a semi-acoustic guitar named after country music legend Chet Atkins, in excellent player's condition! It was manufactured in 1995. While it has some minor wear, scratches, and wear, it's still in excellent condition and ready to use! The Sunrise Orange color is a highlight!
The Gibson Chet Atkins hollowbody Tennessean is now hard to find, even on the used market. Its thin-body, semi-acoustic design with a center block, combined with its maple neck and ebony fingerboard, produces a clear, well-defined sound. It's equipped with Gibson humbuckers, a 492R in the neck and a 490T in the bridge, providing ample scope for creating a wide range of tones.
Even as a semi-acoustic guitar, it produces a fat, natural sound, and even when plugged in, it's capable of creating a deeper, mellower sound. From jazzy phrases and wailing bluesy solos to light country picking, it's versatile and produces a distinctive tone. You'll have fun discovering new uses not found on other models, such as adjusting the volume while thumbpicking using the master volume located on the body horn!
This time, we have a recommended player's condition used item in stock. It was made in 1995.
As mentioned above, the elbow pad on the bottom left of the body top is missing, exposing the wood, and there are scratches and signs of wear throughout, but this guitar is still ready to use right away! It has a great presence and the Sunrise Orange color really stands out, making it a highly recommended item!
There are also some small scratches, dents, scratches on the buckle, scratches from playing on the pickguard, and dullness on the metal parts, but it's a guitar with a lot of character! Although there are many scratches, dents, and signs of use, we have performed maintenance and cleaning at our shop, so it's ready to use right away.
The end pin has been replaced with a Schaller lock pin (the lock pin receiver is not included).
The frets have been filed and are ready to use. Approximately 70% of the frets remain. There are no problems with the nut. The truss rod can be adjusted normally without any problems.
We have also checked the electrical system and there are no problems with operation.
It weighs approximately 3.75 kg, a balance that produces a solid sound.
The only accessory included is the original brown hard case (digital key type).
Don't miss this opportunity!
