Description

~A superb pre-owned D-28 Authentic 1937 VTS Madagascar Rosewood model has arrived~

The D-28 Authentic 1937 VTS is the ultimate reissue model, a 1937 D-28 reproduced by the skilled craftsmen of the Martin Custom Shop.
This particular guitar was manufactured in 2014 and is extremely rare, with a VTS-treated Adirondack spruce top and Madagascar rosewood back and sides, which are no longer available for order.
In order to reproduce the sound of that time, measurements were taken from the original 1937 model owned by the Martin Museum, and the design was faithfully produced based on documents from that time.
The hand-scalloped 1937 Authentic forward-shift scalloped bracing, hide glue, neck shape, painted pickguard, and thickness of the headstock, fingerboard, and bridge are all perfectly reproduced. The finish is a luxurious semi-gloss, ultra-thin lacquer.

Perhaps because the previous owner was a player, this guitar sounds so amazing that you can't help but exclaim, "This is truly authentic!"
The combination of Adirondack and Madagascar rosewood produces a rich, lustrous, and elegantly sweet tone. The forward-shift scalloped bracing and thick V-neck create a dynamic range that's sure to captivate.
This is a wonderful guitar that could be called the ultimate vintage replica, but its sound has the potential to go beyond the realm of a replica. This is a masterpiece that could be called the ultimate D-28 proposed by Martin today.

There are small dents and scratches throughout the guitar, but no major, noticeable damage, and it is in good condition, showing that it has been played with care.
This guitar has been properly set up by our partner workshop, resulting in excellent playability. There is minimal swelling or deformation of the top, and there is plenty of spare frets and saddles.

An authentic Madagascar rose period piece that is hard to find these days!
Don't miss this opportunity to purchase it!
