Description
Description
This time we have the GOB900, the base model of the GO series, which was particularly popular from the late 1970s to the early 1980s.
【body】
The overall weight is approximately 4.6 kg. The body is finished in Greco's signature chic dark stain color and is made of Sen 3-ply wing wood. There are some scratches, dents, and tarnished metal parts, but the paint retains its shine and the guitar is in relatively good condition considering its age. The strap pins have been replaced as a set.
【neck】
The neck is a late-model five-piece maple/walnut neck with a rosewood fingerboard. It features a speedway neck (neck-through). The back of the neck has some noticeable dents near the second fret and the 10th and 11th frets, as well as other small and large scratches. The tuners function well with little variation in winding. The frets show signs of wear and tend to lean too high. The string height is set high, and lowering it will cause buzzing. The nut width is approximately 42.2mm. The strings have a sturdy U-shape.
[Electrical system]
The controls are 1 volume, 1 tone, booster volume, and a 3-way pickup selector switch, and the mini switches are a phase switch and a booster on-off switch. With a powerful, rich tone and a wide range of sound variations, this model is surprisingly versatile.
