Description
Description
Headway produces a wide range of guitars, from traditional to exotic and modern, and is known for its high level of craftsmanship. At Headway, there's the Aska Team Build, a small but highly skilled team of several members who have built a 10-year career under master builder Momose. Aska Team Build incorporates rare woods not typically used in regular models, as well as processing and design techniques that require advanced skills, resulting in guitars crafted with meticulous attention to detail, not only in sound but also in appearance.
This model was produced in a limited run of just six, boasting exceptional specifications befitting a show model. The body features an Adirondack spruce top, Cuban mahogany back and sides, and a precious tulipwood center back. Known as the "Queen of Woods," tulipwood is coveted by wood enthusiasts worldwide. The tulipwood adds a touch of brilliance to the Adirondack's overtones and Cuban mahogany's mid- and low-range tones. The 000-shape body, known as a folk-type, produces a clear, delicate sound, while its powerful, brilliant tone offers a unique depth and resonance not found in other guitars.
The neck is made of African mahogany with a tulipwood fingerboard, and the thin neck grip provides excellent playability. It also incorporates two carbon support bars for added rigidity. This not only maintains the neck's rigidity, but also contributes to the quick response that transmits vibrations the instant you play.
The headstock features a tulipwood veneer with an eagle inlay, and the fingerboard and pickguard also feature feather inlays. The body color is a unique tulip half-gradation, perfectly complementing the exotic tulipwood.
A masterpiece that generously uses high-quality, unique wood.
This is truly a model worthy of being a show model!
