Even the brand logo is unified in black on this 5-string Talmann bass model.
Roasted maple neck (back: same BKF finish as body)
The neck is made of heat-treated maple, which improves shape stability, resistance to warping and temperature changes, and water resistance. The back of the neck is finished in the same black flat (matte black) finish as the body and headstock.
Ebonol fingerboard (fingerboard surface: clear finish)
The fingerboard is made of ebonol, a synthetic material made by layering black paper and phenolic resin, and is characterized by a tight, bright sound similar to that of ebony.
■Okume wood body The body is made of okoume wood, which has a bright and solid sound and mid-range characteristics similar to mahogany.
■Dynamix pickup Equipped with Ibanez's original Dynamix pickup, which features a dynamic and punchy bottom sound.
The front features a rich low end that is essential for bass lines, while the rear features a tight, crisp sound.
Ibanez Custom Electronics 2-band equalizer
It's a simple two-band EQ, with the body end of the two stacked knobs controlling the High (upper) and Low (lower) boost/cut.
(The stack knob on the neck side is the volume and balance control.)
