"The snare drum that suits your style." Every drummer embarks on a long journey in search of that one. The SLP Sound Lab Project was created to serve as a guidepost for such drummers. Not only does it offer a wide selection of shell materials, but it also features shell thickness measured down to the millimeter. And to maximize their potential, it incorporates newly developed hoops and tubular lugs in addition to existing parts. This combination creates a wide variety of sounds, making it a snare series suitable for all genres.


The bright and soft sound of the maple shell is characteristic of the SLP snare drum. The light and crisp Super Sensitive Hi-Carbon Snappy is a concept model in the SLP snare series that combines these strengths with the tight, mellow sustain of the Sound Arc Hoop, creating a sweeter, richer sound. Its well-balanced sound, not too open, produces a beautiful, acoustic tone.
