Description

We have a used TAMA Hawaiian Koa Shell snare drum in stock, a limited edition model produced around 2000!

-AK350 Hawaiian koa Snare Drum-
Hawaiian Koa is a wood native to Hawaii.
Koa, which means "courage" or "brave" in Hawaiian, is revered as a sacred tree in Hawaii and is known as a high-quality wood for musical instruments such as the ukulele.
Because it grows only on the island of Hawaii, the Hawaiian state government currently strictly restricts the harvesting and export of koa, making it a rare wood with limited distribution.
This is a limited edition model made using the rare Hawaiian Koa wood.
The shell is made of 9 plies and is approximately 6mm thick, resulting in a low, full-bodied sound.
It pairs well with the Brass Mighty Hoop, which has a mild attack and sustain, and the Bell Brass Wire Snare, making it a snare drum with a pleasant sound that blends in well with songs and ensembles.

-Brass Mighty Hoops-
Brass triple flange hoop with a thickness of approximately 2.3 mm.
It produces an open sound with a soft attack and sustain.

-Starclassic Snare Wire Bell Brass-
The snare features a bell brass coil for a softer sound. The plate is bent at a shallow 6-degree angle, ensuring that the coil makes even contact with the entire side of the snare drum, ensuring a snare that "sticks" well and captures even the most delicate touches.
