Ernie Ball Music Man StingRay Special
The Stingray Special is a refined version of the Stingray, which has been loved worldwide since its introduction in 1976. The neck is made of carefully selected roasted maple, the frets are made of hard stainless steel, and the fingerboard is made of maple.
The body is crafted from select hardwood and features neodymium magnet pickups. While maintaining the classic Stingray sound, the new 18V active preamp provides ample headroom, enabling a wide range of expression, from classic vintage tones to punchy modern sounds. The body contour is more rounded, and the five-point neck joint ensures stress-free playing. The hardware has also been redesigned and uses carefully selected hardwoods, resulting in a lighter guitar.
