Since its founding in 1982, MAYONES (also pronounced Mayones) has gained popularity in Europe and the United States for its distinctive lineup and reliable quality. Its user list includes a renowned list of top players, including Nathan East, Hadrien Feraud, Jimmy Haslip, Yolanda Charles, and Pawel Maciwoda (The Scorpions), and its unique and original models, crafted from attractive exotic woods, have been highly praised.

This newly arrived model is a signature model by Hadrien Feraud, a top French bassist who is often referred to as the reincarnation of Jaco. Based on the Jabba model, a refinement of the JB, this signature model features specifications tailored to his style and musicality, with 24 frets for balance and ease of playability.

The body is crafted from swamp ash. The neck is made of maple with a TWE (Tonally Enhanced Wood) finish. Compared to the previous model, this model features a more traditional feel thanks to its lacquer finish and aged finish. It offers a high-quality tone with rich overtones, an attack that keeps up with fast passages, and a sound image that sometimes resonates percussively. The 34.25-inch scale length also provides a solid sound image, even on the low B string.

At first glance, the single-coil Delano pickup features a twin-coil humbucker construction, producing a more substantial, noiseless sound than a typical single-coil pickup, even when played alone. The built-in Mayones original preamp features a push/pull master volume control for active/passive operation, allowing for precise control over a wide range of genres and styles. The latest preamp can be powered by either the built-in rechargeable battery or a 9V battery, and the remaining battery level can be displayed, making it a high-spec option.

Additionally, the bass features an AUX and headphone jack near the end of the body, allowing for direct connection to the bass itself, making it easy to enjoy playing in a variety of situations. The finger lamps located between the pickups are now considered an iconic feature of the bassist, contributing to playability and sound control. This model features a rosewood fingerboard without binding, with different fingerboard materials used depending on the color.
