Description
Description
LR Baggs is popular worldwide among professionals and amateurs alike for its acoustic pickups and preamps. Originally a luthier, Lloyd Baggs founded LR Baggs, a pickup manufacturer, out of a desire to faithfully amplify the sound of acoustic guitars. This model embodies Lloyd Baggs' guitar philosophy and know-how.
While a thin body often sacrifices tone and response in acoustic guitars, this model's innovative approach preserves acoustics and response while delivering a deep, warm, and rich acoustic sound never before achieved in an acoustic-electric guitar. The natural-colored top is made of Engelmann spruce, the back is Indian rosewood, and the sides are layered poplar. The layered poplar was chosen for its tonal balance, strength, and weight, making it a unique approach.
The neck is made of African mahogany with an Indian rosewood fingerboard, and the comfortable grip makes for excellent playability. The heel of the neck is smoothly machined and bolted to the body, providing a heelless finish for excellent playability.
The pickups are LR Baggs HiFi Duets, which provide a perfect balance of string vibration, body resonance, and feedback resistance, while the built-in Silo Microphone provides high-quality sound like a studio microphone, with a sense of openness and ambience. The control has a microphone blend, making it easy to use.
Featuring a revolutionary body structure with superior acoustic characteristics and LRBaggs' latest and most accurate pickup system, the HiFi Duet, designed to perfectly utilize every idea, leveraging LRBaggs' accumulated know-how and technical expertise, the HiFi Duet delivers a rich, acoustic sound that exceeds expectations. *Images are for illustrative purposes only.
