Description
Description
Xotic Bass has announced the XTB-1T Series, their first new product in five years since the introduction of the XJ-Core.
The XTB-1T Series is designed with the original 1954-style P-type in mind, and features the wood cover that is a unique feature of the 1T series, such as the Xotic XJ-1T and XP-1T.It is equipped with an original design Xotic XTB dedicated pickup and a 3-band EQ Xotic Preamp, and despite its simple configuration of a single single coil, it has a wide range of sound-shaping capabilities that can be used in a variety of situations.
The OPB remains extremely popular even in the more than 70-year history of electric basses, and its appearance and components have been given a modern twist, resulting in a bass that beautifully blends vintage and modern styles.
This model is a 5-string model with an ash body and maple fingerboard.
The lacquered Electrum Gold is combined with tortoiseshell PG, and the guitar has a medium aged finish that perfectly recreates the wear and tear on the paint that would result from weather checking over time and actual use at live shows.Although it is brand new, it has a moderately mellowed sound that blends well with any ensemble.
Although it is extremely lightweight at approximately 4.04 kg for a 5-string, it has a fat and rich sound, making it a must-try for anyone considering a P-type 5-string guitar that is stress-free to play on stage.
