Description
Description
The Custom 24 has been a staple in the PRS lineup since its founding in 1985, undergoing numerous minor changes. We've just received a pre-owned, player-recommended 2013 model! This rare Custom 24 features the rare Vintage Burst Lemon Drop finish. This is the 2013 version of a popular model that saw many minor changes!
While undergoing repeated minor changes, the Custom 24 has remained a central model in the PRS lineup since the company was founded in 1985. Its refined sound and playability have made it a favorite of many artists, making it a model that is synonymous with PRS.
The 2013 version is based on the popular 2012 Model, but the material inside the bird inlay has been changed from the previous resin to green ripple abalone, creating a luxurious feel. The pickups have also been upgraded from 59/09 to 57/08, further improving both the look and sound. (Some models also have the option to upgrade to Vintage Bass & HFS.)
The 57/08 pickups installed in this particular guitar are produced after PRS obtained exclusive rights to use the machinery that produced pickup wire in the 1950s.These pickups are made using the same wire material as back then, with careful attention paid to even the coating.
The magnet used in this pickup is a specially developed magnet known internally as Alnico X. While the power itself is not particularly powerful, it has an extremely wide range, making it an excellent pickup that fully conveys the superb resonance of the wood material to the amplifier.
As for the all-important sound, the pickup output is weaker than the previous 59/09, giving it a mellower, cleaner sound. It has a wide range, but each register is clearly articulated, responds to delicate picking, and faithfully reproduces even the most subtle nuances, resulting in a wonderful sound!
The Pattern Regular neck provides a wide range of playability, a vintage-like feel, and a fat, clear sound character, making this a versatile guitar that can be adapted to a variety of genres.
This time, we have a recommended player's condition pre-owned item in stock! Made in 2013.
There are small scratches, dents, marks from playing, noticeable buckle scratches on the entire back of the body, dents, paint wear, and dull parts, but we have given it a full maintenance at our shop, so it is in recommended condition and ready to use right away.
The frets have been filed and are ready to use. Approximately 75% of the frets remain.
The nut is in good condition and can be used as is. The truss rod can be adjusted normally.
The electrical system has been fully checked and there are no problems with operation.
It weighs approximately 3.32 kg. It is lightweight and well-balanced for easy use.
This is a sophisticated piece with an atmospheric grain and Livingston Lemondrop color!
Accessories include the original hard case, key, tag, arm, and wrenches.
Don't miss this opportunity!
